“ This place is amazing!! We were camping nearby at Poinsett and on a rainy morning, decided to explore Sumter. We happened on to Brubaker's, and it was delightful. They are tucked into a great little antique-ish shop, which is fun, and have ample and comfortable seating. If I lived in Sumter I'd be in there every day. They roast their own coffee and bake their own stuff and it is very clear that the owners and workers care deeply about what they are doing. My partner had the "sconewich," a scone that is split, filled, and griddled on a panini press, was amazing (stealing this idea here in KY). I had toast (housemade sourdough--incredible) with brie and fruit, but I wanted everything on the menu! Worth the trip!!! ”
